Collection: Moldavite

Moldavite is impact glass, thrown out molten when a meteorite struck what is now Bavaria about 15 million years ago and landing as green glass across Bohemia.

Every piece on this page is weighed to the hundredth of a gram and photographed as it is, so what you see in the listing is the stone that arrives.

There is a lot of fake moldavite about. Every piece here is Czech, and it is sold by its own weight with its own photograph so you can see what you are buying.
