Ash Shaqqah 002 Lunar Meteorite | Moon Rock 27.16 Troctolite

Every meteorite here is a named fall with a locality, sold by its own weight rather than by the piece.

The catalog runs from iron nuggets you can hold in a closed hand to classified lunar slices, and the price follows the weight and the rarity of the fall.

Nothing is cut or polished to look like something it is not. What the photograph shows is the specimen that ships.

How to read a listing here

  1. 01

    Weight and price.

Every meteorite is listed by its exact weight to the hundredth of a gram, so you can compare one piece against another instead of guessing.

  2. 02

    Classification and fall.

Every listing names the fall (Campo del Cielo, Agoudal, Aletai, Sikhote-Alin, the lunar classifications) and its locality, so you know what you are holding.

  3. 03

    What is in the box.

Most pieces ship with a display case and a velvet carrying bag, and every listing says exactly what comes with that piece. Saffordites also come with a macrame necklace and an information sheet.

Questions buyers ask

How do I know it is real?

Every meteorite here is a named fall with a locality, and the lunar pieces are classified and listed with the Meteoritical Society. Will has been in this trade for eight years and buys from people he has known for years and at the shows in Tucson, the home of the largest gem and mineral show in the world.

What arrives with the piece?

Most pieces ship with a display case and a velvet carrying bag, and every listing says exactly what comes with that piece. Saffordites also come with a macrame necklace and an information sheet.

How fast does it ship and what does it cost?

Orders are packed and out within one day. United States shipping is free over 75 dollars and 8.99 below that. International shipping is 16 dollars for packages 8 ounces and under, and 33 dollars over. UPS or FedEx on request.

Shipping terms

Can I return it?

There is a 30 day return policy on everything, exchanges included. A returned piece needs to arrive in the same condition it was shipped in. Return postage is on you unless the piece is defective or we made a mistake, in which case it is on us.
