The name pyrite comes from the Greek word for fire, since striking two pieces against each other can produce sparks. The Ancient Incas used Pyrite as mirrors. Pyrite can be found all over the world but the largest deposits are in Spain and Peru.

Pyrite is believed to increase power and energy flow of the third chakra. It’s believed to increase willpower and assist one in overcoming bad habits. Pyrite can be a helpful tool for balancing polarities and creating harmony with chakras and the auric field.

“Wills shop has been my favourite for years now. He cares about the customers, it really shows with the packaging. There is always a great selection and a reason to visit his store to build your collection or gift a friend. It's always a great experience and I'd recommend a visit. Thanks.”
